Phone Numbers
Question 1) Can I call international numbers?
Answer) Yes, of course. As long as you have enough credit in your pay-as-you-go account then you can contact anyone in the world.
The price differs significantly between locations and whether you are calling a landline or a mobile. You can check out the International Call Charges and enter the exact number you wish to call to work out the price per minute.

Question 2) Do lines need to be connected to my business physically?
Answer) No, the beauty of VoIP is that the lines are connected to your account and do not need to be physically connected to a specific location.
Wherever you log in to your account is where your line is connected. Remember with every VoIP account we give you unlimited "lines", so just add as many "Users" as you want and each person can make and receive unlimited amounts of calls.

Question 3) How long will my number transfer take?
Answer) Simple transfers where your provider releases your number speedily will usually take around 10 working days. Single lines transfer across at the lower end of this timescale & multi lines on the higher end. Please do make sure you upload your ID documents as quickly as possible & we will submit your transfer as fast as we can. You can also specify a future date for the completion of the transfer if you'd prefer (so long as it is 10 or more working days in advance)!

Question 4) How can I block numbers?
Answer) You are able to block a certain number or group of numbers for individual numbers, or the whole account, on both the Flying High and Enterprise packages.
Starts With
Contains
Ends With
Equals
Anonymous
And then simply enter the value into the box. For example, if there is a particular number you wish to block (hypothetically 01234 567890), you enter: ″Equals″ > ″01234567890″. Then, you choose what happens after for each condition:
What happens if there is a match (I would choose “hang up” if it's a cold caller number for example!)
What happens if there is no match (continue call route as normal.)

Answer) No, the transfer is almost instant! We'll email you the minute the number is configurable with us (usually 24 hours before) & you can then enter your Dashboard > Voice > My Numbers & add the call routes to your new number.

Question 7) What is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MvNO)?
Answer) At Expediusly, all plans on offer feature some degree of inclusive UK and US minutes, depending on which one you choose. The minutes include calls to all standard rate landline and mobile numbers, but also exclude calls to premium national and local, service, special and mobile virtual network operator (MvNO) numbers. We completely understand that most customers wouldn’t have heard of an MvNO, so thought we’d explain a little about what this means:
An MvNO is classified as any communications services provider (network operator) that does not use its own network infrastructure to provide the service to its customers. In effect, these providers are 'reselling' the services of the underlying network operator.
Every network operator doesn't have its own underlying infrastructure, and there are in fact only a small handful that does. Most Mobile Virtual Network Operators will also provide their own customer service, billing systems and marketing, which makes it hard to identify that they are, in fact, an MvNO.
As these operators often have to pay to 'rent' the infrastructure, instead of offering their services at a higher price to their own customers, they increase the cost to call their own numbers, which is incurred by the caller. As a result, some MvNO number prefixes do incur a higher call cost, and will not be included in your plan.
Expediusly does try to include as many MvNO numbers in our plans as we can, so long as the cost to call these numbers remains at the standard rate. Some numbers, which may have been set at a standard rate initially, may have their prices increased at any time, which may mean that calls to this number would no longer be covered by your inclusive minutes. You will find that the costs to call these numbers will increase with many other providers in the market.
You can check the cost to call any phone number or country, and which network operator owns the number, with Expediusly using our Call Cost Checker.
